The Recrational option
The SUP 11-City Tour is a 220-kilometer journey through Frysian waterways in the Netherlands, passing eleven historic cities, that offers not only a competitive but also a recreational option for paddleboarders. It fosters a sense of community among athletes from all over the world, connecting them through their shared love for paddleboarding and the desire to challenge themselves, make new friends and share an unforgettable experience.

The Competition option
The SUP 11-City Tour is an exciting and challenging event that takes participants on a 220-kilometer journey through the picturesque Frysian waterways in the Netherlands. If you feel like you want to measure yourself with other competitors, you can approach the challenge with a competition-driven mindset, striving to be the fastest and most skilled paddler in the group.
The tour brings together some of the best long distance SUP athletes from around the world, each determined to push themselves to the limit and achieve their personal best. Paddlers train rigorously in the months leading up to the event, perfecting their techniques and building their endurance to tackle the grueling course.

The NON-Stop option
If you're looking for the ultimate endurance option, then the NON-Stop option is what you need. This entails paddling the over 200 km waterways along the 11 cities in one continuous effort. The maximum time allowed for women is 36 hours, and for men, it's 34 hours. The cut-off times are just as strict as those for the original ice skating 11 city tour.
You are permitted to make as many stops as you wish. The event organization will provide support in the cities of Sloten, Workum, Franeker, and Dokkum. However, in between these locations, you have to rely on your own (mandatory) support team for assistance. Kids Stage Option on Sunday
Ga jij meedoen met onze KIDS Etappe van 10.4 km? We starten vanaf de pauze plek van de tour deelnemers en peddelen langs de Tegeltjesbrug in Giekerk en daarna via de Bonkevaart naar de finish in de Prinsentuin in Leeuwarden. Hier finishen ook alle andere atleten. De volledige route staat op deze pagina.
Dit is een tocht voor ervaren peddelaars. Overleg met je SUP School over een goede uitrusting, hoe je je eten en drinken voor onderweg meeneemt, en of deze tocht geschikt is voor je.
Er is keuze tussen competitie (volgens de regels Wedstrijdreglement SupNL) met klassement voor leeftijdscategorieen of tour.
