SAFETY & RULEBOOK

General Safety
Ensuring the safety of participants is a top priority for any event organization. While every precaution is taken to guarantee the safety of all athletes, sometimes unforeseen circumstances can arise, and it may become necessary to remove an athlete from the event for the day.

Athletes must be aware that they have a personal responsibility to assess their own situation and the potential dangers that may arise during the event. The organization cannot be held responsible for any injury or harm that may occur due to an athlete’s failure to take adequate precautions.

Race / Tour Safety
Water or weather conditions can pose a significant threat to the safety of the athletes. In such cases, race officials may be forced to cancel, postpone, or shorten the event for the safety of all athletes. It is important to note that in such circumstances, entry fees are non-refundable. However, the organization's decision to prioritize the safety of the athletes should be recognized as paramount.

Therefore, as an athlete, it is essential to stay informed and aware of any changes or updates related to the event. Understanding and adhering to the rules and guidelines provided by the event organizers will ensure a safer and more enjoyable experience for all involved.

In case of weather change the boats will show flags:

Green: Normal circumstances (Green flag or no flag visible on the boats)

Orange: Change of weather, sitting on knees allowed (Orange flag)

Red: Stage canceled for safety reasons (Red flag).
