ABOUT THE FOUNDER

Anne-Marie Valeria Reichman was born on November 1, 1974, in Leeuwarden, Friesland, the northern province of the Netherlands. From a young age, Anne-Marie was interested in classical ballet, jazz ballet, modern dance, and piano lessons. However, at the age of 16, she discovered her love for windsurfing and became a Dutch champion at 19 years old. After high school, Anne-Marie chose Scheveningen as her new home, where she focused on the Sport Academy and learned to windsurf in the Dutch North Sea waves.

Her passion for windsurfing led her to travel the world and discover new cultures, languages, and waves. In 1997, Anne-Marie traveled to Maui, where she was introduced to big waves and fell in love with the sport of WAVE windsurfing. She made her debut in the PWA World Cup in 1998 and later achieved a top-three ranking in the world.

But Anne-Marie's interests go beyond windsurfing. She is also a passionate surfer and stand-up paddler, finding balance in her active life through activities like art-painting, yoga, golf, and shaping boards. Her creative pursuits, along with her love for water sports, inspire her to share her lifestyle with others around the world through clinics, interviews, promotions, and event organization.

Anne-Marie's motto is "Dream of life, live your dream." She spends her time on Maui, and a few weeks per year in The Netherlands, and travels extensively to pursue her passions and inspire others to do the same.
