General safety

When the safety of the participant is not 100% guaranteed, the organization can take the participant out of the event for that day. The participant is at all times responsible to judge it’s own situation and the potential danger that can occur. The organization will not be deemed responsible afterwards.

Race safety

The race may be cancelled or postponed or shortened if water or weather conditions are deemed too hazardous by race officials (no entry refunds).

In case of weather change the boats will show flags:

o Green: Normal circumstances (Green flag or no flag visible on the boats)

o Orange: Change of weather, sitting on knees allowed (Orange flag)

o Red: Stage cancelled for safety reasons (Red flag).
